April 2024

Dear Fellow Alumni and Friends,

It’s hard to believe that in just over a month, we will be celebrating the graduation of the class of 2024! April is always a busy and exciting time on campus as our graduating class prepares for their next life transition and alumni begin to feel the nostalgia of their past graduation.

We look forward to celebrating our students, alumni, and Valpo family on Tuesday, April 9, for Valpo Day - a day when our Valpo family comes together to support our students and programs that prepare them for their life ahead.

When Krystal Peña ‘21 was deciding which college to attend after high school, she knew she wanted to be far enough away from her home in Chicago to feel independent, yet close enough to home to get back quickly if necessary. As a first-generation student, Peña didn’t have the experiences of her family to fall back on.
